High probability that Battlefield Hub/Battlehub is confirmed
And I cannot freaking wait to see the list of remastered maps we're going to get if this is true. Below are some interesting tid bits I found.
"Created as a love letter to our core fans, a new way to play Battlefield is coming,” reads a short description of this mystery mode. “Discover unexpected battles and enter the wide universe of Battlefield with this experience.”
"Battlefield Hub is going to contain remasters of maps from old Battlefield titles,” he says in a video. “It’s going to be [maps] on the Battlefield 2042 engine. The movement and stuff like that is going to be exactly the same, but you’re essentially playing on a remastered map with different weapons and vehicles from past Battlefield titles.”
"So you can expect to have the Battlefield 2042 combat experience, but in classic series maps that can hold up to 64 players for most maps, but 128 in certain locations and on new-gen consoles in others. As per Henderson, there’ll be no class system in this mode and it aims to be the ‘fun’ sandbox game mode."

If this is true DICE have really went all out for us and I will definitely applaud them if this turns out to be real.
Updated info: At around the 7:00 mark in the EA Play Live 2021 spotlight (below), DICE LA/Ripple Effect general manager Christian Grass talks a little about the mode the team is working on that hasn’t been shown off yet – although they confirm it will be revealed at the proper not-E3 EA Play showing later this month. Grass notes that “one of the components in this experience that we’re creating is that we’re adding some of the fan-favourite maps back into Battlefield 2042.” DICE’s general manager Oskar Gabrielson calls this new mode “something special” which will ship with Battlefield 2042 at launch.

On the Battlefield 2042 website, this game mode is referred to as “redacted” and is called “a love letter to our core fans” and “a new way to play Battlefield”. Tom Henderson suggests that this mode will be a fun “Battlefield Hub” sandbox experience containing remasters of old maps – which was exactly what Christian Grass just revealed.
Metro
Locker
Wake Island
Siege of Shanghai
Arica Harbor
Caspian Border
Caspian and Arica Harbor is nice to see personally, and Metro/Locker will be good for grinding guns depending how unlocking attachments will work. I hope they add some more maps but it is only the beginning.
According to Henderson’s info, Battlehub will be the “ultimate sandbox experience,” and will include remastered versions of multiple maps from across the Battlefield series. Since these maps are obviously much smaller than the gigantic storm map we saw in the E3 trailer, it is unlikely that they’ll support the 128 concurrent players that the storm map did.
Also possible we'll have our map/game mode filter again so a server browser? I'm not sure but this is what they said.
"In fact, you’ll supposedly be able to pick and choose what maps and gamemodes you want to have in your playlist, not unlike in Halo or Call of Duty."
