@Wasupwitdat I and others have the same problem, it's totaly unplayable atm.
There is some major desync or hit reg problem. Almost every time I am killed by a single enemy, it is an instant kill. This could even be after I unload an entire magazine, then they whip around and I am dead (from a Headshot no less).
It has a lot to do with the server tick rate, which is unacceptable for 2022.
I feel exactly the same on PC.
Many times I feel like "okay enemy must be dead by that amount of bullets I shot" and change my target to the next when I realise the first one is still alive and kills me.
It never felt so weird in any other shooter game for me. BF5 had similar issues but not that bad.
When I shoot like 6 bullets into an enemy he MUST be dead. Regardless the range I fight him when its an AR and he has no armor plates.
- @Sooxzay I’m having same issues. Been this way since the season 1 update. After 4.0 update it was fine but now happens again.
Its basically because players are now put in closest region if they have none available thus needing to implement huge amounts of lag comensation to make the game playable for them.
Thats what the netcode improvement's actually really meant in the patch notes........netcode improvments for non local players.
Netcode, TTK, TTD has been messy in many BF titles, it is just different how bad it is and in what area it is worse, and how much it gets fix/improved over time.
For me in BF2042 The TTD seems very fast (at times) But I don't know if it is the netcode, or some balance issues with the TTK/TTD/health system, since we have armor plates into the mix. Also it would not surprise me if there is some bugs in the system.
It doesn't seem like DICE is like particularly focused on making big improvements or hunting down bugs/flaws in the system to the ttk/ttd and netcode, it doesn't surprise me.
How EA/DICE never seem to learn from their mistakes, and to not improve on these very important areas of a game, or don't seem to take with them the things that work from previous titles. I don't know how all these things work, and it is probable not easy, but it still sad to see how little EA cares, and how little DICE seem to be able to improve on these area's for next installment's, and always seems to start all over again.
My question is, how could they have made it worse with season 5?!
