That said, how can they fix it long term as I suspect the change was due to player count death spiral, so local servers with low ping players isn't an option 24/7 as not enough players exist to keep the servers 1/4 human player occupied.
For example, the game is so lacking actual humans late at night, I got a 205 kill round in 128 player conquest on Exposure in a stealth helicopter (I took a scoreboard screenshot if Dice wants to confirm)...so we might as well play offline with 100% bots as that is what late night has turned into at present...and I'm guessing daytime will fast follow...

Unfortunately still there. No change from before this patch. Hit reg and lag compensation were not addressed. Still worse than Minecraft.

Games absolutely broken for me with a huge 20ms ping…..the game must be only for cheaters and triple digit pings….never seen so many headshot deaths in a game ever!

It is sad to hear so many players are leaving the game because of this critical issue.
DICE really need to address this matter urgently and apply a hotfix.

Yesterday i witness it from the opposite side. In de map exposure B2 i was on the ledge above the platform when a player tried to shoot me in de back from +- 5 meters. turned...he kept shooting at me...i geve one burst and he died. He must have had a rage from exposure to wake island.

As long as EA/DICE run the game with so few servers worldwide, then they obviously also do not put restrictions on how high a ping some of your fellow gamers on the same server connects with.
Hit registration will always be bad as long as you have enemies with high ping in the game.

IDK, either my fingers and eyes degraded overnight or hitreg got worse for some reason (or maybe I just pay more attention to it now).

- Sc0tch_Whiskey3 years agoSeasoned Ace@LlamaWithKatana I just asked a streamer who is live right now if he has hitreg issues and he said he doesn’t see an issue for himself. So either he is one of the lucky ones or he knows something we don’t lol.

I bet....
1.) The game is designed for 100 ms
2.) Lag-Compensation (or other parts of the netcode) are set differently on the platforms

Hi @TeiIzeitREKTor, the video you uploaded is a good example of TTD being very fast.
One thing to note, if network is good one day and bad another, it means majority of the time the routing of your network are hitting bad hubs towards our servers. (I see this in all games)
/Atic - LlamaWithKatana3 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Atic after patch it got even worse. Both hitreg and TTD. I died from SFAR-M in under a second from full HP. Even with all headshots (which weren't the case since it is not in kill feed) it is way too fast for that gun. And my ping below 15 most of the time and below 20 all the time. Depending where exactly servers are hosted I live few hours (in average) from em.

Hi @LlamaWithKatana, video examples of it would be great. If you have Nvidia card using shadow play can make it a lot easier

Also I hope you saw and passed the info about season badge. I'm almost level 70 but have only 602 points in badge progression. Each game I get at least one token but for the whole 4h of BF yesterday I've got 1 or 2 points of progression for badge. - EA_Atic3 years ago

My issues most definitely started after v1.0.0 that stated net code improvements for all guns.
In reality it’s made my 20ms connection feel like a 200ms connection and it’s not playable due to one bullet deaths constantly and deaths literally seconds behind cover oh and my bullets turning into marshmallow’s.
It’s very clear EA has got rid of load of servers so to compensate for players that now have higher ping the lag compensation has been increased but at a detriment to the local players game.

If its from one game to another, something else is at play. Is it high Ping in one game or is always the same ping?
I'm now not talking about TTD or TTK, sounds more like network issues if you have to have VPN to play.
