Hit registration is the worst that it's been since beta. How have reviews gone up for this game?

Not sure if this is the same issue I am having. Have just recently started playing and I find it incredibly strange that I can shoot someone upwards of 10 times and they seem to have endless health. Yet I am dropped in milliseconds as soon as they have me in sight.
Not sure what the cheating/hacking is like in this game so don't want to jump to that conclusion yet. But even so the number of hits I am making on players should be dropping them surely...
@grant89ukThis has been a big issue for many players. There's a pretty lengthy thread about TTK vs TTD. It seems like it takes forever to kill people at times, while your deaths are near instant most of the time.
It feels like I'm playing on a different timeline then some of the other players.

- @GrizzGolf This for me! I play PS5 exclusively, so crossplay is already out of the equation. Yet some matches I get killed in one frame while being full health, whereas in other matches I’m running around like Rambo dropping people left and right.
And many times it’s low level players that get the 1 frame kills on me.- @RanzigeRidder2 I realized that the rounds I do get that feel “right”, probably means the ones I’m getting are having the “wrong” game and vice versa. There has to be a happy medium. This isn’t limited to just PC or just console, so this is a server side game issue.
