Tanks and other vehicles shouldn’t be allowed to either sit in their home base and shoot people with no consequences nor should helicopters be allowed to come in and go to the opposing base to kills infantry while starting a match. As long as BF has been around this has never been more of an issue since BF4. Fix this EA!

I don't think enemy vehicles should have access to your home base, and that there should also be AA turrets to keep helicopters out of it.I don't think there's any good game design to keep people form camping their own spawn, besides it doesn't do anything for your team. It's more of a map design issue than anything. The newer TOR tanks can be an issue with being able to snipe other vehicles across the map. Again, that could be solved probably with just map designs that cut off long sight lines.I agree though, Stranded really stands out with it being an issue. That map seems to promote spawn camping. There's so many spots to break the line of sight, and it's hard to catch your breath when the enemy heli is just spamming your home base.

Fix this EA!Agreed @Brooklyn074 !The large and mainly empty maps are part of why this is even possible in the first place. The home base and nearby map layouts should be made so vehicles cannot just stay in their spawn and see much of the enemies at long distances outside or have ability to reach them with their firepower.And for the enemy air vehicles harvesting kills by hoovering on top of their enemy's spawn, here a simple automatic anti air gun as we have seen in previous BF games would do well.

So also we had maps in the past, where we could get spawn base trapped, so to speak and found it ok that we had to figure a way out of there and also defend our own vehicles when they spawned there.But on those previous BF/maps, we had rich contents on them which we could use strategically and alternative routes on how to escape the enemy and we had abilities turn the whole game around.Not so in this latest version, where you get trapped like fish in a barrel. And the fisherman brings along unlimited dynamite. ;o)

So how would one break out of a spawn trap if you can't use vehicles in your home base? You can shoot into their base with rockets yes to kills those tanks but they couldn't fight back? That sounds rather unbalanced.
I’m not sure how it would be fixed!!! Prevent them from shooting in as well. The issue with tanks just sitting in their home base and getting kills without advancing is an issue the armor should be advancing to help capture sectors not just sitting in base getting kills while being protected. If they do not want to engage in the battle and capturing of sectors then get out of it and let someone else use it to help the team. The fact that players sit in the armor an entire round never leaving their home base is just as big of an issue rushing in to the opponents home base to spawn camp!

and then everyone gathers at border to spawn and the team that is spawn trapped can't get out cause the moment they do they get annihalated

ah the classic "i deserve the vehicle more because i will use it better"
the guy sitting in the tank in his spawn bought the game too. he's not breaking any rules and he can play however he wants

@Psubond The reason they introduced out of bounds home bases was down to some players/squads dedicating the entire round to hiding in the home base to spawn camp, lay mines where vehicles would spawn and also stealing vehicles.

It was a persistent problem in earlier games.

I am not saying I would use the vehicle better so please don’t just assume, I am more of an infantry fighter although in my BF2 days I was quite good in Jets and Helicopters. All I am saying is that when you have infantry capturing sectors or trying to but the r other team is efficient with infantry and armor well there is no balance. Yes if you purchase the game you have the ability to play any way you would like! All I am saying is this does not benefit the team in any way and I like the aspect of team play not individual play hence why I have always chosen BF over COD!
