Why are we always spawned out in the open? Just now, I spawned in directly in the line of fire of an enemy. What the actual F??WHY do we not spawn behind cover????Who came up with this &$&#%??

Spawn thing is something soooooo absurd.Most of the times there is no way to spawn with squad members when there are enemies somewhere nearby even when your mates are hiding at secure places without taking fire or being shoot at all, but instead you can spawn yourself inside a vehicle that is already being attacked and most of the times you just blow out with it.If you want to spawn near a defending point you can be spawned just in the very front of an enemy tank or a complete enemy squad just to be shoot before you realize what happened.Spawn at breakthrough is a real pain in the *** if you have no other place to spawn but the base. Attacking/defending control point are so far away that takes forever to reach them again and it make your team loose precious time to gain or recover sectors.I know the previous BFs had similar spawn ways, but this BF2042 have so much open area with no covers that I guess this make bigger the feel that the game is a piece of unplayable crap.

@Ti4_S4ndY The funniest spawn is on renewal on defender side at the last 2 objectives, you literally spawn on a field of grass where snipers and vehicles have completely full vision from theyr secured spawn.You can literally spawnkill the enemys if you just camp with a vehicle there.My squadmate went into an Tank, I picked irish with an repairtool and put 2 sentinels infront of the tank so that incoming rockets would be disabled.The result was Squad #1 with the tanker getting 172 kills and me leveling the repairtool from t5 to t2 in only ONE MATCHThese Devs who decided to let them spawn in a wide open area without any cover or retreat options are complete morons.

Yeah. Emplaced spawns ought to always be behind some decent cover, from, three sides so you can changeout fittings etc. Spawns on the go, need to take into account projectiles in motion or at least add 5-7 seconds invulnerbility (with your own weapon doing no damage in that time either). AT the moment I cannot spawn in on teammates in firefights because they are "in combat" but I CAN spawn into an exploding tank or a patch of burning asphalt and die instantly.

@Bolvard Renewal on the last objective is the perfect example of bad spawns xDIts much less prevalent on other matches but that one makes my blood boil. Spawn, get mowed down by a bolte, spawn, chopper death, spawn, tank death, spawn, sniped...

@killCAMPERS Also one of the worst is when you first spawn in the game the very first time run for not even 5-10 seconds and heli blows half the team away.

Yessss half match trying to find cover and spend the other half match running trying to reach the objectives to finally get killed in the middle of nowhere XD

Battlefield spawns have always been problematic. Spawning in the open with no cover for 50 meters in any direction is poor map design. There are many things that the devs ignored in each and eavy game, but it is now all catching up to them and the player numbers show it.

BF3 in the beginning was the worst. They just rotated across fixed spots, so all people did was camp near those respawn spots and picked players off.
I think BF4 had the cleanest of them all. Followed by BF1 though there were many times I spawned only to get bayonetted from a solider busting through a door.
