@Man_iLoveFishingI don't agree.
With 128 players and 10-20 vehicles, you get 80+ (often 100+) infantry-players. The game must focus on infantry first, and then make vehicles co-exist with infantry. Also you cannot expect 100 infantry players spending all their time fighting 10 vehicles, they have to fight other infantry and cap flags as well.
You cannot have a small part of the players having fun, farming the majority of players, that is just stupid and it will make people stop playing. 2042 lost a lot of players because of the overpowered vehicles.
Many of the maps in 2042 are still too open and have no usable cover. The vehicles cannot co-exist with infantry on the 2042 maps, therefore the nerf/buff/nerf-cycles with vehicles have been awful and people still complains about vehicles.
And still there are too many air-based vehicles with explosives, that is the biggest offender in the vehicle/infantry-balancing.
how come in hundreads of hours since launch i have never ever experienced ( been farmed ) by vehicles like ever ? and i dont even play engineers or anything .. everytimes i played infantry focus i simply outsmarted vehicles and avoided them easily .. why couldn't you do that as well is beyond my understanding ..

I think there's too many players that just want vehicles to be non existent so they can play their McKay and Sundance and farm other infantry. Vehicles are supposed to be powerful and be able to kill loads of infantry. Then you have to deal with it by playing engineer or outsmart it with C5 OR go get your own vehicle or assist a friendly vehicle by repairing him, gunning with him, or guarding him. I remember in bf4 when infantry and tanks,ifvs worked together to push the enemy back. If you see a friendly tank dueling an enemy tank, help by firing rockets or armor piercing rounds at emeny to ensure your tank wins or help repair the friendly tank. Not all friendly tanks are hill campers. The only vehicle I'd say is a slight problem is stealth helps just namelessly bombing in stealth mode (my tip, get good at free firing rockets to hit it or get a friend with soflam)

At least on an ideal battlefield game for me. I think battlefield 5 got it right when they had two kinds of servers. One had larger maps that allowed this type of gameplay and the other one was a little bit smaller maps for people who like more of the running and gunning gameplay. I think one option was called tactical conquest the other one was something else.
