Don't know how the current split is of BF2042 players, but the largest segment of players used in previous versions of Battlefield to be on the PlayStation platform. So that along has been sufficient to support the PlayStation world on its own through previous versions of this game with no problem, certainly not when looking at the largest geographic regions worldwide.
E.g. I play PS5 and have by default always crossplay disabled, and I have no problem to find live matches so far. (located in European region).
The PC world was the second largest player group in Battlefield and third came the xBox players.
So xBox gamers are probably now the worst hit segment by the dwindling player population on the BF2042 game unless they enable the crossplay with PC players, who probably for the most part all leave crossplay on?
- TwentyValve3 years agoNew Veteran@HJ_Spacewar its funny you say that, cause I was just thinking about it. I'm on Xbox and die more to PC players, and some Xbox players, but can't remember the last time a PS player killed me, lol.
- HJ_Spacewar3 years agoRising Adventurer@TwentyValve Yeah that's my experience as well. PS5 is probably just the smallest player base now that it's on Xbox game pass. Who knows without the actual data lol PC player do dominate most of the matches I play though. Always top kills.
