How do you rate BF2042 based on current info, gameplay leaks, BETA, etc

Ok guys... we are soo close to release.

How much do you anticipate the game based on the info released up until now?

Which info do you guys miss...?

For now I believe BF2042 will be my TOP3-game within the Battlefield franchise.

I am worried about the technical state on release and that the focus has been too much on developing a novelty party-gamemode HAZARDZONE which has removed focus from the core-element which 90% of the playerbase are actually playing BF for: CONQUEST all-out warfare.

Also I am worried that PORTAL has been created with content-creators in mind rather than again the actual playerbase.

    I started the franchise back with Bad Company 2 so I can only go that far back, so here is my list

    I wouldn't put 2042 in a hierarchical list just yet but if I were to rate it out of 10 based on what I know and have experienced so far I'd give it a solid 4. There's been so little information or marketing for the game and the technical test or beta did nothing to alleviate my concerns with the game.

    As for my list for Battlefield games:

    At this moment bf2042 gets an anticipation score of 2/10 from myself and apart from one other member of my clan who have pre ordered there is just no interest at all with the rest of the members. just a look at these forums when compared to previous BF titles run up to release, it seems to be very quiet when it usually is buzzing with excitement and I put that down to the lack of information in general, maybe we will receive more info this week I do hope so 😉

    BF3 would be higher had I played in its early days. I only played a couple of years ago when a few maps were in rotation.  

    BF2042 so high because I loved the beta and anything resembling BF4 and BF3 goes above everything else by default.

    @ST1GUS you have a very valid point. It seems like we have the same 15-20 users being highly active on these forums when looking through the posts...
    It seems the hype has gone a bit with the lack of info on different aspects of the game.
    Portal-mode: 0 info since the reveal-trailer. Hype gone.

    Dynamic-wether mode: Was underwhelming in the Beta. Hype gone

    Hazard Zone. No one asked for this game mode. Hype gone.

    Conquest/Breakthrough: 0 info coming from devs. Info that maps are designed around Hazard Zone and NOT Conquest. Hype gone.

    Specialist: The community being very very sceptical with the upcoming change from classes to specialists. No further info from devs. Hype gone!

    So yeah... Dice marketing team again is ruining a first class reveal for both BF2042 and Portal mode by being exceptional silent!

    I am inadequate to rate because haven't played majority of them. I would say, solely, based on emphasis on large scale combat that this will be enjoyable experience once necessary elements for casual co-operation are there working for what I am looking forward from Battlefield. I have always wanted more soldier classes and if this specialist focus is DICE's way for making more of them then so it be. I will take it. 

    Portal hopefully delivers quality content. Looking forward to play games (or part of games) which haven't been able to experience before.
