I am currently pondering on the same. I want to unlock the extended mag, but it says 90/90 and is greyed bar. Where can one see these masteries?

with 390 kills and I still don't have the extended mags it's pretty annoying. Think that attachment might be bugged which is annoying. It could compete mid range with the first rifle if you could have more ammo.
