@UP_Hawxxeyedon't get me wrong, I use it too. I am not saying everyone is a noob or novice for destroying with it. I am just saying this game is catering to novice players. This is one of those times. I have never flown a helo that is this OP against everyone. I can take out all other aircraft 1v1 and annihilate ground forces without any threat of being shot down. If I die, it was because I was being silly.
Then for them to put it in the game while the other team has no aircraft? It is absurd. No one should be going 40-1 in a match. I have seen pilots have 50 kills in the first sector, especially on maps where the objectives have no cover (most objectives in the game).
Why’s that?
@CPT_GASLIGHT I think the wording is poor, that nobody should have these stats. I think what he means was with the addition "so easy".
There are players, who are clearly better then 99% of the community, they will have great stats maybe even a 40:0 or so.
But this is not the topic. What causes this thread, is the desperation fighting these helicopters. You simply have no chance, even if you know what you are doing. Stinger, Rao, Lis, nothing helps, when the pilot is very good. Yes, a very good pilot should have good stats... Because he is very good. But he should not be invincible.
I only play infantry, that is ok for me, there I have most fun. But I tried everything to counter these stealth helicopters, Rao, Lis, Soflam, NTW-50, everything can be counted very easy for the pilot. Rao's hack has a too limited range and through the indicator, he will be very dead after the hack, through the warning, the helicopter will use flares, before the hack is finished.
Lis rockets... Maybe I am not good enough yet, but the helicopters in general are too fast and too agile for this sluggish rocket. If the pilot sees the rocket (and he gets visual indicators though radar), the agility of the helicopter outclasses the rocket very easy.
What is the result and how do the players are reacting to this situation? Nobody is using stinger, nobody is fighting the helicopters, because everybody knows, it is useless. Even when the whole team is anti air, a good pilot can outplay everybody. And that is frustrating. More and more people will stop playing (I am short before this moment, if only the 30mm canon will be nerfed, I have no more desire to play this game further). DICE seems to have no plan balancing the air vehicles. And it just continues, first the little bird, then the condor, now the stealth helicopter, it gets worse and worse. And none of the other helicopters are weak, but there everybody has counter measures, but the stealth helicopter is just game breaking and DICE is too slow to react to this unbalance.

@Captain_Tachi Very well said.Dice has made them invincible and infantry can't do much about it.Only few options left for players like us who like to play infantry is either use tanks n EBAA or leave server ,but i think best option is to stop playing this piece of *^%$$.
- ATFGunr4 years agoLegend@Captain_Tachi Well put. Max elevation reduction, single 30mm, timer on stealth, Soflam lock on, there’s lots of things they can do. An average pilot would not need these nerfs. The good pilots are very, very good, and no game should be a farming method for individual players. When a squad over comms are unable to take out any single vehicle, then it’s a game breaking vehicle. It’s made Breakthrough unplayable as only the attackers get one. It’s like playing a P2W game where the other guy spent all the money and you’re the F2P players getting farmed. It’s been almost 2 months and CRICKETS from Dice, they must be flying to ignore this issue.

I do not think they do, at least those who call the shots
