Since the introduction of this helo anything I take off into the air with just melts in litteral seconds (not exagerated) vs the stealth helo with zero counters. While before air combat was fun. How are people doing this with the stealth helo? No matter the gun I use on the stealth helo I cannot melt other helo's.
Used to be the trick to sneak up close to other helos with the little bird to get the drop and kill them before they could turn their heavy guns. But not so much the stealth helo, bullets just bounce off and the 30mm on the little bird isn’t anywhere near as powerful makes no sense.
- Anobix4 years agoSeasoned Ace@doubleome the little bird is effectively worthless versus it, it loses in terms of health, armor, and potential damage output (especially if the stealth has a gunner too).
The attack/apache chopper _can_ win if they have a good pilot and gunner, but honestly you never seen one because why would you in most circumstances. The transports, ironically, can actually hold their own well enough if they have competent gunners, especially with the miniguns. Now with the next nerf to the Condor/Hind 50mm that may change a lot, but I find that if you have two miniguns on pretty much anything in the air it falls pretty quickly. FIX THE DAMN STEALTH CHOPPERS, THE NERF (WASNT A NERF) Cool DOWN has done 0 to the Over Effectiveness of the chopper 4 times trying to take it down with Wildcat it just spams me with cannons and rockets and i die every single time the guy flying had 0 deaths and 72 kills, Any game you join Breakthrough been the worst... The Stealth Chopper racks up ridiculous amounts of kills, You cant even missile lock it half the time and when you do it just runs to other side of map then comes back for another go. JUST NERF THE CANNONS DAMAGE LIKE YOU DID WITH THE OTHER HELI's ITS TOO OP!
@MaddoggMirandaThis was a no brainer. Everyone that’s honest about the state of the game and that plays the game daily knows full well simply nerfing the 30mm cool down was a laughable, half hearted attempt of fixing the stealth helos.
So now, like with the laughable, half hearted nerfs of the Hind and Condor, we must endure yet more weeks and months of being farmed by stealth helos.
No change to Stealth helo meta and Hind/Condor meta is relatively unchanged with 40mm spam and still more durability and insane survivability when compared to tanks.- @Zhukov211 It’s like do they even test there needs before releasing? Because if they played 1 round of breakthrough they would soon realise it’s not enough! @EA_Atic moved my post inboxes me warning me for tagging, How about inbox your Devs tell them to fix the choppers already it’s beyond a joke!

i am going to start hanging out by the wildcat as rao. when stealth helo comes in for a strafing run i'm going to hack his * and pop a stinger for good measure and hopefully the wildcat finishes him (since stealth helo gets flares and stealth you can only get one missile off unless the pilot is stupid)

@PsubondThe problem is how these slippery busters fly low and hide out of sight. Especially with that stupid wall in Renewal
- Adamonic4 years agoLegend@Psubond It won't matter lol. It is still OP, maybe not close your eyes ridiculously OP. Now instead of 10 kills per run, it is 8. That is basically the nerf.
Still pretty much hosed on BT without defender air assets.

Still pretty much hosed on BT without defender air assets.agreed, but i am willing to sacrifice my exp to make life miserable for helo pilots. if i can enrage them enough to keep coming after me then my teammates can attack the objectives without getting obliterated. (i am good at being a complete irritant to pilots...i may not kill them but i make their life very difficult and i've made a bunch rage quit and go find a map they can go ham on. the hate mail is extra tasty)
