How many melee kills do you have?

I've been going through my stats and realized that I pretty much never use melee. Out of 50 000 kills, I only have 67 melee kills. And those only come from messing around with different animations before figuring out all of them are useless crap. Not only 3rd person animation boring, but the animations themselves are way too long and not that good-looking. With the introduction of throwing knifes I've been running them all the time.

What do you think about BF2042's melee animations? I would rather have brutal melee combat of BF1/5 return.

@UP_LordPlumber I don’t know off hand how many, I’m assuming less than 200, however most of those are likely shield kills. It counts as melee, it’s much faster than a knife take down, and I know it makes those getting bashed super mad (I hate getting bashed lol). The knife takedown looks pretty, but the lack of personalized tags like we had in previous titles and the time it takes to get the kill, makes it far less attractive versus the risk.

Out of 58k kills I have 34 melee kills. Would be more if animations were proper. That going into 3rd person should be optional.&nbsp;
