How to counteract Dozer

Much to many a chagrin and with a 1HK. They seem fun to play hence I wouldn't ask DICE to nerf them. Each to their own.

This is what I do:

hold your nerve. Worst thing is to start running around or mindlessly shooting. You know end is near then.

Face him and hold your ground, remain still. Stand up—do not crouch or prone. Let him come charging. Just before he is about to melee, jump over and across him. Turn around and finish him off.

(To Console players: ensure your stick sensitivity is high enough to ensure a quick rotation, else he'll also turn around.)

Works a treat.

    I usually dodge the shield with a slide and go for the knife in the back. I find it's easier to do than jumping over them.

    Definitely shoot the legs as you approach so they crouch and are less agile

    Inexperienced players are usually confused when I just run at them and I can land the knife 90% of the time.

    Against experienced players it's a bit harder but I can land the knife more than 50% of the time.

    If you want to increase your odds you can also go for the Super 500 in the back with the same strategy.

    @ugdpy great tip. But you need space between you and the Dozer for you to run (and then slide), correct?
