All these people on the forums telling BF vets to 'get over it' and that 'franchise has to evolve into something new' and all that other BS are totally missing the point, we were subtlety mislead by the more hardcore BF3 military style advertising campaign.

@RipGroove99 Porsche 911 is a perfect example where such a great core design can last years with improvement in materials. BFV would have been incredible had they taken all the 30 some maps from the original 1942 and expansions and remade in the new frostbite engine. Whole road map laid out with iconic battles like Stalingrad, battle of the buldge, Berlin just to name a few.

It wasn't till the end of cycle they finally listened to the players and gave us more authentic skins
