I just started playing 2042 today, is there a hardcore mode?

I am sorry but I just cannot play this noob mode. I can see people through cover and smoke with some cheese outline, and it shows me where people are who kill me? It's just cheese and not fun. I coul...

@mickey921 he just means that he needs to get gud before trying to play core modes.

There's not an official hardcore mode but, as the others have mentioned already, you should be able to find quite a few in Portal.
