What we're seeing here was the plan from the start.   Create hero shooter,  use battlefield title to lure customers,  sell macrotransaction.  This is EA's end game.

@-DFA-Thump They were probably intending to sell all the skins that are now in the weekly challenge, but knew no one was going to go for it so started the challenges to be able to say they are releasing new content weekly

    @CloverDeuce Yeah...it's more than likely a stopgap while they assess whether or not to Anthem to game. My guess is we're going to see a year of half hearted effort until they can it.
