with how bad this games base performance is at the best days i dount it will bring any long term influx and most likely make a lot of people ,who were tricked by the marketing and lies fed by devs on twitter, leave for good and most liekly never return after sinking 60-120€/$ into this mess....
i mean would you really play a BF game where a good portion of the moment to moment gameplay can range from functioning to breaking down infront of your eyes? especially if your actual main game might also be F2P and work 10-15x better with a lot more to do/offer?

Going FTP will not save 2042, even people that paid for it dont want to play it. Plus Battlefield should never be FTP, it will only make things a whole lot worse, especially with cheating.

Have you ever played official servers BF1 or BF5 ? Trust me, there wouldnt be more cheaters in F2P BF2042. Also they would more likely blend in because there would be atleast 10 times more players than now which even that alone could make the game better. There may be not many cheaters now because noone is playing it, not because its P2P.
Yeah I kinda see how people who paid for it are playing it, I mean its better now, but still less ammount of players than even in BF5.
I dont really understand how consumers can be against F2P, guess youre just rich or something and you want to play with better people which isnt even case here, you might also end up playing your paid Battlefield alone because why would someone pay for a game when there is games like Warzone free.
Time of paying for games is slowly going to end if you like it or not because people really buying those skins and they sometimes even spend on them than they would be spending on game, also those F2P games companies probly even make more than this old P2P monetization system. P2P cant really stand against F2P games when F2P are this good, those are AAA titles you know ?
@Awhoo_Thunderthat is because cheaters are free to reign because Dice are crap at fighting cheaters, and Dice dont even bother with BF1 and V anyway, now add in on top of that all the cheaters from having it free to play, it will be a lot worse.
I said that even people who paid for it dont play it, so F2P will not help. Warzone is for a different fanbase, I hate COD as probably so do a lot of BF players. Ha trust me I am far from rich, but I would rather pay to play Battlefield than play COD for free.
F2P does noes not work well with every game, some games are better paid to play i.e. Battlefield, where the likes of Warzone and Fortnite do better as a F2P. In general BR games do well with F2P model, where team based shooters like Battlefield do not.
Also bear in mind that ONLY Warzone is F2P, everything else COD, like teambased pvp/singleplayer is all pay to play.
Battlefield will not do well as a F2P game. Especially 2042 just because it is the worst BF game to have been released. Doesnt matter if its F2P or P2P, if a game is bad its bad, either way it will still have hardly anyone playing
Battlefield needs to go back to Premium, live service is horrid and has obviously not worked well for Battlefield
