Also, you can’t use the wingsuit and shoot at the same time^^ if you got shoot from a Sundance from mid-air you have met a skill full player which get out of the fly modus and where able to kill you (and gets back into wingsuit modus)
I don't quite understand some of your points in your reply if you could help me better understand as I'd hate to assume and get your opinion totally wrong.
The first issue is I don't have a clue what Sundance is, the movie festival? This entire sentence is ancient hieroglyphics to my eyes. Could you by chance rephrase this at all for me?

so, in the end you want BF3/BF4?
Technically I would like a successor to Battlefield 4 if DICE was able to provide it, but it seems they want to create "Just Cause of Duty'' instead (Just Cause because of the wingsuit and/ or Tornado's, Call of Duty because of the auto-spotting and/ or sliding movement mechanics). Enough of me being funny (I actually do consider Battlefield 2042 to be more Just Cause then an actual Battlefield title btw).

Motion sensor\T-UGS where part of some BF games before 😉 yeah, the proxy sensor needs a reduction in pulses but (i have sugested in the beginning to remove this thing but know I'm ok with it when they still balance this thing)
Also, It is part of the game and good reconnaissance could be half a win
True T-Hugs and/ or motion spheres and/ or all spotting mechanics have been in previous titles and/ or this one, but that's what my argument is about. My argument is that auto-spotting causes issues with people getting too much information with little risk, basically just by looking around in close proximity.
I made a good write up about auto-spotting (my opinion) to the first person who replied to this article. You could check it out and should give a more clear view of my opinion as to why I think auto-spotting causes unforeseen issues within Battlefield 2042.
Understand though, I'm not asking for the removal of spotting, but the change back to the manually spotting mechanic found in previous titles. Basically I don't want the game to show a nameplate when you get close to someone.

Sliding is a good addition to the game and due to the huge maps, it gives you more survivability and an additional tactical feature
Sliding, nope, just don't like it. Could be how it's implemented into Battlefield 2042, but I think it's bad.

I personally played a lot of BF2 and Bad Company 1 +2 some BF2142 but since BF3/BF4 me and most of my friends (in RL and Online) played less and less BF (One problem was splitting the player base due to DLC’s)
So, BF2042 has more in common with BF2 like the styles of Unlock and the huge maps.
I'm mixed on the so-called free DLC model myself. So many people tend to want games to be free, but at what cost? I don't want the Call of Duty model and have weapons shooting me in the face with colorful laser effects. Also with Battlefield 2042 being a paid game, but the agreement that DLC will be free, how sure will that last?
I'll trust game companies' devotion when I see it, EA and/ or DICE don't have a track record for sticking with their planned service model in my opinion. Time will only tell if Battlefield 2042 follows that same list.

You don't like the specialist which brings more freedom of choice and dynamic to the Battlefield
But as I said in the beginning you don’t want a BF2042 you want BF3/4…
So May i ask you why do you play BF2042 when you are bothered so much by the game?
Maybe I’m to old but if I don’t like a game I don’t buy or have learned a lesson when I can’t refund it.
Oh, I think there is some confusion here. I currently do not play Battlefield 2042, I'm here on my own accord stating why I don't play it, and what could convince me to come try it. I watch videos online of people playing Battlefield 2042 and see issues with certain things and/ or reasons I don't like it. These 4 in this article are the main reasons why I don't give it another try.

But I think I never would ask a developer to change the game into something else if this is not a balance thing.
but hey only my thoughts on your topic
That's where you and I differ. I speak to game developers all the time (being I've been testing games since 2013 or so (paid) and most want to hear actual feedback as to why someone might not enjoy their title). Some companies pay good money to hear actual feedback. It's not by chance that Battlefield 2042 has a low population, it means the majority don't find it interesting enough to invest over other titles.
Video games are a for-profit business and if whoever was in charge could be 100% certain that the removal of heroes would net an increase of more players, you would see them quickly removed, but no one can be certain that would happen.
What DICE needs is a playtesting community like it had with Battlefield 4 in my opinion.
So much has been lost to the EA game changer program that nobody part of it doesn't want to speak up, in fear of being removed from the service, so everyone lies just to get their free EA products etc.

The hero stuff is gimmicky at best. Some more OP than others, some useless. The thing that frustrates me is with all the auto spotting, you can't just take two seconds to regroup. We're not asking for a mil-sim here. We want Battlefield. You know, jumping and diving removes the ability to fire for a second, you could actually USE CONCEALMENT and take cover from fire. This thing has zero concealment even on the old maps and forget taking cover. I get wiped out on the regular by someone on the opposite side of a rise while I'm prone and NO line of sight or be "leaning" out of a doorway shooting at an enemy and get railed by someone that was not in my vision off to the side that had no reason to be able to see you. Just off the top of my head, you have distance spotting using Q menu, soflam, shooting someone with an ability, a throwable gadget, a hero suit and oh yeah one of those robot dogs that can see through smoke, walls trees and mountains. How many times have you pulling into a building or behind a rise to regroup, reload, heal and seen "Position Revealed" two three times. And let's talk about being able to be seen and spotted through smoke. We're not talking about mil-sim here, but let's be realistic for Pete's sake.

if you are prone you are and should be a sitting duck. as for being able to see you in a door way, you can't see their screen so just cause you don't think they should be able to see you doesn't mean they can't. you gotta be pretty close to get the name plate to appear. maybe you're just not as sneaky as you think you are. maybe there's a drone overhead maybe a half dozen other things happened....

@Psubond I think you missed my point....if I'm on one side of the rise and he's on the other, how does he see me, especially if I can't see him? Prone sitting duck, pretty much, but my point was, he should NOT be able to see me. The kill cam shadow usually confirms it. A vid would explain a lot. Same in a doorway. If I'm on the left side of the door jamb, shooting out towards the right...distance of let's say 50m and I have no view of the "left" side of the field, How can they see me? Again, the kill cam usually shows they had no right seeing me, again, I couldn't see them.
I know there are some concessions, I've played these titles enough to know that this is different than the others. You used to be able to take cover inside of a doorway. I've NEVER had this issue before with any of the others, so I'm baffled. I may take a few vid clips to show what I mean. I'd love to have the other side of the picture. Sometimes if feels like your player model isn't where you think it is...

@Echo6Echo
The thing with heroes that I didn't like is the gadgets, like how fictional they seemed. I would have loved a true Battlefield 4 successor. No grand scheme, but just a modern shooter with many urban combat multiplayer maps with as much destruction as possible.
Server browser, persistent servers, tons of new destruction that would make Bad Company look like a kids toy...
