Legit question here, I don't want any stupid answers like "Get a pc" or "Turn cross platform off" or anything similar, its is a cross platform game without a basic Cross Platform feature.But when are Next Gen consoles going to be getting Mouse and Keyboard support as they cross platform with PC?I have tried to play it with cross platform off and the lobbies are 90% bots, so I refuse to do that again. Please, some actual answers..........COD MW, Cold War, Vanguard, Halo Infinite, Fortnite, Sniper Elite 5, War Thunder, Anacrusis (Game Preview), Metro Exodus.Some these games are single player only, most are multiplayer with Cross Platform with PC. EA...DICE........what is your excuse? if your competitors are doing it, why not you? Vanguard and Halo infinite might be a mess, but hey, they support all their players.Sniper Elite 5, a game that could of easily not support cross platform, but it has, with the M&K support day 1.So EA and Dice devs, or anyone from there I welcome you to read this and give a valid excuse other than "Looking for ways to make it fair" as all you have done is give PC all the advantages. The aim assist in the game is a joke, you fight that more than the players (I have it off entirely).

I would rather they removed crossplay between PC and consoles. Keep it console only (ps & xbox). Then, if they don't ditch the game, after they get these major changes out the way they can add in input matchmaking and allow users on console to use KB&M. Right now there is no way I am installing the game again until either input matchmaking is put in place or PC is removed from crossplay with consoles.

@BiscuitTheCat Ya they need to remove PC from crossplay. It's the only way to balance competitive play. Its just not mnk vs controller. PC have the potential of double to triple the frame rate of consoles have higher resolution, more graphical tweaks and settings. They're never going to balance the two unless they limit PC to the same resolution, framerate and control input. There is no way they will do that as the pc community would throw a hissy fit if they were limited to 50 to 60 fps.The best option is to remove PC from crossplay or make console vs console the defualt crossplay and you have to manually opt into pc crossplay.

But I enjoy shooting console players and running around stabbing them!No one thinks of us PC players ☹️

@xXHappy_PuppyXx @xXHappy_PuppyXx But then by removing cross platform to where its just the console players, then your essentially stopping friends from all formats joining, the purpose of full cross platform is to allow friends and players from all formats to play together, not to limit consoles to consoles and PC to them selves.The way EA has did it is bad, i won't argue that, but if they took a page out of Halo Infinites book, have the option to have input based match making that way those using controller play together, and M&K play together, give the option to the players.But I will disagree with the idea of "pc to be removed from crossplay" due to that not being true cross platform then.

@BiscuitTheCat Or implement input based match making, then the player them selves can decide to play with just Controller, M&K or both, but they first need to implement M&K onto next gen consoles first before anything like that.Support was there for consoles during Tech Test, Semi-implemented (Keybaord only) in beta and then fully removed for full release, its a joke

@OskooI_007 Xbox Series X, but either way, XSX or PS5, there is no M&K support for the Next Gen consoles which play with PC.

I'd like mouse support too. I recently bought a 8,000Hz Razer Viper 8k mouse, luv it! Mouse motion is so smooth at 8,000Hz.

@OskooI_007 The fact that EA has recognised that Cross Platform is what will help it for future titles is good, however, by not allowing 2 thirds of the games player base, XSX and PS5, no M&K support, they are essentially handicapping those formats who wish to play cross-platform with all their friends among all platforms.

Inherently PC with M&K will always have an edge regardless of Console aim assist, snap assist or anything that a game may have to assist a controller user, its why most games that are cross-platform will 9/10 times have M&K support depending in the genre. But a controller player can not beat a M&K player in a FPS shooter 8/10 times.

@Cemtexx It should be done to remove the allowed automation of aim assist. The crutch that gets abused by fake natties even on PC. May as well automate the entire game if you allow any sort of automation regardless of platform. I don't get mad at aimbotters since it's allowed from joystick users. Can't have it both ways.

@BiscuitTheCat Personally I would prefer them to keep the cross play between all (Next gen and PC) but have the input based match making, that way everyone is happy and it makes it a more even playing field.

@xXHappy_PuppyXx It is interesting that someone has mentioned this, I can use COD MW and Cold war as an example, I play on the XSX with mostly PC players on those games, and use M&K also, and most time play with a 60Hz monitor (going to upgrade to 120 soon) and I can still keep up with them whether in a large ground war game or in the smaller competitive games like CTF or Demolition despite playing at half the refresh rate, but graphically the same.

I wouldn't say visually there's that big of an advantage for a BF game (Each PC rig is different) but M&K is what the biggest factor is when it comes to playing competitively or casually.

@Cemtexx cod has extremely aggressive aim assit to compensate while 2042s aim assit doesnt even work most of the time.

Framerate makes a huge difference. If it wasnt there would be no need to have 120 fps. Even so ps5/series x are lock at 60.. hell they barely can get to 60fps without dynamic resolution scaling kicking in.

COD for all its faults is way better optimized for both PC and Console.
