We can talk about teamwork all day long but the fact of the matter is this: Ammo crates are few and far between.
/shrug, all of the specialist items regenerate automatically. Anything not-specialisted needs an ammo crate or box, which is fine, although I wouldn't have been opposed to having ammo-refill stations in a capture point or two.
Maybe play with a group/squad that communicates and works together and someone always is falck or Irish with an ammo box? It's what my group does.

The T-system helps for ammo. I rarely run out with 3 different types of ammo to use. The one they could add, especially on bigger maps are resupply caches, but make them only active after you have held a flag for X amount of time.
Also, I was thinking that part of the call-in system could be for resupply. Then Angel could send his crate to that location on a call-in vs in proximity of his location.

@VOLBANKER_PCGadget ammo needs to work the same as counters. If vehicle counter measures auto replenish (as they currently do), then so should gadget ammo. If gadget ammo needs to be resupplied, then so should countermeasures. It's not rocket science is it, and yet DICE seem to have struggled to grasp the idea since launch....

easy lazy fix:
Reward people more for gadget resupply.The revival missions do make people revive more, so bribing works

When capturing a flag there needs to be a supply crate materialize there. It's only fair.

Can you imagine the chaos if we had more than 4 tracer darts?!
