It's already been mentioned by others: kicking isn't inclusive.

if that seriously is the rational then oh my.
do you know what also isn’t inclusive?
The fact I don’t play because of every poor decision that’s been made to the detriment of this game.
i litterally don’t play 2042, because they’ve made this game not for “legacy” players, but instead to attempt to target a different generation. How is that inclusive?
Prior battlefields had a vibrant community of clans, many of which didn’t transition to 2042, because of the lack of team and clan management options.
how is that inclusive?
Oh man, this makes me mad.
I was primed ready to install again with the team management drop. But if they’ve not even managed to make that work I’m not even sure I’ll bother, sure I imagine it will allow me to switch teams. But why would I invest any time in this.
I met my clan because I was invited to join squads, we had maybe 10-12 people playing on a regular basis.
I would no in n a server, they would kick a random and I would join the squad. We’d chat on teams.
then when more people arrived, we’d self organise into different squads, even on different teams.
Without the kick option, this becomes too difficult and awkward to manage you are literally removing the ability for this activity to occur which is what brought me into the clan.
it’s crazy and yet another attack on the ability for teams, clans, friends etc to,ironically,” play-together”
argh this is infuriating.
You see, when the modern media say "inclusive" they generally mean two things.
Either to "include some extra people while actually excluding the traditional audience"
Or to "include extra audience outside niche of the game/movie/series because the usual audience is hooked and will never leave"
Both are as fallacious as they can be. But this is how management in modern media thinks. This is imho not the work of any developers but a mandate from higher up by people who just chase trends
