If i have a series x can i install xbox one version

I would like to know if I have a series X and I wanted to download the xbox one version so I can play with my friends is that possible

    Yes, this is possible. 🙌

    If you have the Xbox One version of the game installed on the Xbox Series Console you can play with others that are directly on their Xbox One Console.

Could someone install both versions of the game (or is there an easy way to switch between them?) at the same time? I have friends that play on Xbox one as well as pc and I’d like to play with all of them(obviously not at the same time) but without having to uninstall one version and reinstall the other.
