If I have bf2042 on my Playstation, How do I link it to PC.

I plan on buying battlefield 2042 for my PS4. I want to use it on both my computer and PS4, but I don't know if i can link my EA account from 2 different devices. Will I be able to use the same account in 2 devices or do I need to buy 2 copies of the game for both

  • Hey @Chaosboy303,

When you want to make use of cross-progression for Battlefield 2042, you indeed need to purchase the game separately on every platform you want to play the game on.

Eventually for making cross-progression work, you need to connect your PSN ID to your EA account where you play the game on your PC. I recommend doing this before you start playing, just to be sure.

This article on our website describes the best on how to link your console and EA account: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/

    Hope this helps. 🙂

@mista-mishto Also, it won't now let me open BF2042 inside of EA app on PC, as it gives me the error message, close game before exiting EA. This was after I unlinked my PlayStation accounts.
  • I have a slightly similar situation if you can guide me please. I am playing bf2042 on ps4 (purchased from my brothers account) but playing it with my user account which is linked to my EA account on pc. On my pc, I bought the game but unfortunately required to upgrade my pc to work but I don’t seem to find my progress when I open EA app on my pc. So I am asking if i should buy it from my ps4 account too to make cross-progression work or is there something causing my progress not showing on my EA app on pc. Thank you

Mr.markagarcia94 what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
