I BEG TO DIFFER .... Your memorries does not line up with reality dear ... The vehicles in BF4 were even easier to use easier to farm with and inanely powerfull in semi capable hands .. Same as BF3 BFBC 2 BF2MC BF2 and so on and on and on ..
I am really tired of peoples " forging " souvenirs as if they were real and never look back and realise that what they were thinking was like this or that wasnt ..
BF2042 is in a more balanced state than any BF before it ... and pretending otherwise isnt real ..
Feelings are not rooted in reality most of the time .. And the fact is the BF4 liittle bird was easier to decimate peoples with than the Night bird as its stand right now . But the thing is the access to it was hard to get because there was always someone getting it so no ones were able to try it out .. Now in BF2042 they give more opportunity to try it out so more peoples get it and the Training mods with bots have also help peoples to forge piloting skills
@Stew360I am not talking about anything on the ground compared vs air assets. Everything from tanks to infantry is just fodder for air assets.
Air asset balance is not where it needs to be due to no under radar space. Balance between jets and choppers in 2042 is nowhere close to how it was in BF4. In BF4 there was below radar meaning a good jet had to rely on cannons to get you. Same for chopper vs chopper. Below radar allowed the better skilled pilot gunner combo to out play the pilots that rely on lock ons.
Not sure where you are going with the feelings things here but those are facts.
In fact I would say ground is pretty balanced against at least choppers since there is mobile soflam and you don't get a red light showing you from where the soflam is at compared to BF4.
Jets have no counter other than another jet and that is still iffy when top notch pilot is at the helm. BF4 was like that also. BFV has that problem also.
BF4 tanks could paint targets and multiple soflams could be placed making it require a lot of skill to be good and long lasting in chopper runs. BF4 had the best all around balance.
