When will this game be a "real battlefield", with the following points:
- persistent servers
- server browser
- class system without specialists
proper scoring system and scoreboards
- focus on squad play via points
- real score based on all points received in one round
Other questions:
- Do you plan to focus on 64 player matches again, as they are all the way better than 128 players?
- Was 128 players a bad idea?
- What are your lessons learned with the specialists?
- Will the maps ever get some "love" e.g. details and well thought map design again? Right now they are just huge and empty
- Will there be further updates and "dlcs"?
- How long do you plan to support this game?
Most important thing:
- Why do you think a podcast is a proper tool to discuss the future of Battlefield?

- AP Rounds - How did you intend on these being used? These come with a lot of drawbacks, yet do essentially no damage to vehicles.
- Controller vs KBM balancing for vehicle gunners - Tracking targets is easier with KBM compared to an unassisted controller. When balancing things like the miniguns on the air transports which input method did you use as your baseline for balancing?
- Infantry Anti-Air balancing - Infantry AA has a narrow skill gap. Air vehicles have a large skill gap. It often feels that overlap/balance point exists only for a narrow slice of the pilot community. AA can feel grossly overpowered against pilots below this point. Pilots above this point have essentially 'solved' the infantry AA threat. There's a lot of unhappy people on both sides of this line. What are your thoughts on this topic?
- Menu camping for vehicles - To obtain one of the desirable vehicles one has to camp the spawn menu spamming the select button. How does DICE view this behavior? Is it simply the least 'bad' option available?
- DMR proficiency for Recon - Sniper rifles require a specific playstyle and seem like a poor fit for Rao and Paik's specialties. Did DICE consider adding an additional DMR proficiency for Recon?
- SOFLAM - The value of the SOFLAM has been declining since launch. Even at its peak casual coordination among randoms with the SOFLAM was rare. Pilots can just flare away any incoming missile. Many anti-vehicle minded players traded their M5's and FXM's for the G-84. Stealth'ed helis are immune. Re-introduction of 3D spot reduced it's value as a spotting tool. Class restrictions will further reduce the pool of potential SOFLAM partners. Rao now gets a lightweight version of the SOFLAM. How does DICE feel about the decline of the SOFLAM - particularly it's declining value in bringing about casual coordination among randoms?
