Instant death
Anyone notice the game playing different since the patch, I’m literally dying every five seconds and was never like this before.
It has been this way for me since 1.1, got worse in 1.2 like @EliteStarquake , and has incrementally gotten worse to now I get killed in a single server tick with a ping of 35:
This game is so fundamentally broken from its core and there is not much they can do. You can only undo so much spaghetti code.

Can confirm it's happening to me also, deaths that I cant even react to, I also noticed when sniping that I hit targets and I see the blood animation from the enemy but no hit marker.

I was using the PBX-45 and it took 10 rounds to kill a guy, all hits from fairly close range. Then right after that, I am hit, then instantly dead without any chance to react to the enemy fire.
They really need to consider tuning all the TTK down to the point where the fastest weapon is not killing faster than the server can update (server tick rate). Right now too many weapons exceed that threshold. With lag comp and aim assist, the server is predicting deaths instead of waiting for the truth data to come in from both sources.
That's the story of my life at the moment, and you are right they need to sort the time to kill asap as it is completely destroying the game.
I tallied my deaths for a week and here is what I found. Mind you I believe this to be the nature of the game, not a programming issue.
11% of my deaths were equal challenge.
35% were just bad luck. i.e. Turn the corner and run into death waiting, nothing one could do
18% shot in the back (I included Lis deaths when she has already shot her missile and she was killed guiding it)
28% spawn camping Serious issue in Rush and Breakthrough
08% Redeploy (change specialists, loadout etc)
So when you add this up, 81% of my deaths, I really had no shot in avoiding. That is the nature of the game and war frankly.
I did have one spawn death that was not camped. I spawned inside a tornado. LOL
