Damned right!
BFBC3 just needs better graphics but the same everything else that made BFBC2 so popular for so long! Just make the new game LOOK better with the same (visually improved) maps and game modes as before. BFBC2 Conquest in Heavy Metal for almost an hour (or sometimes morel) = Gaming nirvana!
If it aint broke, don't fix it!!
Also, don't reduce tickets sizes either,.. Allow server hosts to set them so games last a LONG time between loading screens because if you leave a game early, you still get your points, and those who want to stay on can just settle in to a 45min-1hr round and relax,. instead of the crazy-a** spam-fests EA has engineered for the 'I just started gaming and don't know the unwritten rules of fair play, good gamesmanship and common (gaming) decency' fraternity.
Heck, even if BF2 you could have an average round lasting 30-45mins and it was pretty good!
Also EA, please, for the love of all things pixelated, DO - NOT - ALLOW - ANY - (BC3) - SERVERS - TO - PERMIT - B*SE-R*PE!!! It's moronic, it totally wastes time, it's NOT fun for serious gamers, it also promotes bad gameplay, a loss of common decency and perpetuates a distinct lack of respect toward other decent players! Oh and it's the absolute fastest way to empty a server!
Weird. BC2 was always marketed as 4 guys having fun, blowing crap up and joking about all the time.
But now it's gritty is it? Lol.
It was also aimed at the 'casual' console market with its small maps and notorious for its merry go round flag capping.
But wait, don't tell me, I've got this.
"It was true battlefield".

I liked BC2:Vietnam and always hoped that they would go with that conflict for another full game, but it will never happen.
I doubt we will see another Bad Company, that seemed a bit like a stop gap game they threw out there for some money whilst working on something else, cant see them doing that going forward because the model these days seems to be to release a full price unfinished game and then milk it for all its worth for 4 years.
- 4 years ago@Tank2042Man Maybe if you learn to read you will see that I said "gritty soldier outfits" I didn't call the game gritty. The outfits were more realistic and gritty not the woody from toy story we have in 2042,

IIRC the whole Bad Company spin-off was a way to fund and develop the Frostbite engine. Making a new engine from the ground-up has to be incredibly expensive and time-consuming, so they decided to make some money back by selling what was essentially a tech-demo. I also seem to remember BF purists moaning about the jokey nature, changing up of roles, and not being able to go prone, but ultimately it was fun to play so they fell quiet.
Now, when development of BF2042 began in 2018, it started with an update to the Frostbite engine. And a few years later we have a shooter with jokey characters in and changed up player roles that the BF purists do not like.
Are you sure you are not already playing BC3? :D
Jokes aside I do not think we'll see another Bad Company game, but we'll have to see what Mr. Zampella has planned.

@Tank2042ManBeat me to it!
@FG44141 Running around with a bright red beret on was 'gritty'!? And let's not forget the bizarre Russian 'Ghillie' suit, all those triangles......
I also recall the Bad Companies being panned by the PC crowd for being 'dumbed down' for console.
They were also as much about the campaign as MP, capturing that humour again will be almost impossible as the only people who could make BC3 are the people that made BC & BC2 and that ain't going to happen anytime soon.
