Hi there, I've been thinking of getting BF2042 since it is on sale right now on Steam. But, I'm concerned about the situation of hackers, bugs and glitches primarily. What do you guys think? Is it worth playing it now xvideos?

@selmon89 Well, it's kind of subjective, what is "worth" it to one may not be to others.IMHO it is indeed worth it now that a good deal of bug fixes and missing features have been addressed/added as well as some of the extra content injected into it.Not all the bugs have been ironed out and many features a lot of players would like to see in the game are still missing, but it is definitely in a MUCH better state now than it was at launch.

(steam seems to still ask full price to me (I got it on origin))This is not a game that you should pay a full price on.But it is fine if steam is offering it to you for a good discount.The game is a lot better now and the crashes etc stopped long ago for me.It is just that it does not yet have all the features a good BF series game has like platoon support.BF2042 is basically still on the journey to became the game it should had been at launch if it had from the start the right direction and development time.It seems to be going in a very good direction but we have not yet have any promises beyond season 5

@selmon89 Its hard to speak objectively when everyone is looking for certain experiences from the game. I have over 1000 hours with vast experience in nearly each corner of the game. If you want something more specific, feel free to ask.First - your main concerns - There are pretty much 0 hackers around the EU area (Might differ from region to region). In my 1000+ hours, I've seen 1 or 2 obvious cheaters, thats it.The bugs are fairly few and far between as of now. Most of them have been nicely fixed, one of the few things Dice did very well with 2042. As of now there are a few bugs with flag icons sometimes not appearing.Littlebird (Small scout helicopter) has this weird physics where it flips on its head if you fly too close to the ground. Also if you get hit by the rocket, there is a 50/50 chance your character will die and the helicopter will land for the enemy team to take.That's about it for the major bugs that you might encounter in the game.The overall game feels quite good to play. There is some issues with the gun balance with some weapons being stupidly good while others are semi-decent. But most weapons are viable and fun to use.Jets are lackluster and don't have any considerable impact on the battlefield. Same can be said about tanks. Some can be deadly in the right hands. But main MBTs are meh at best.Helicopters? Oh boy. Those things can be an absolute menace. The aforementioned Littlebird can single-handedly control the entire game. An experienced pilot is nearly impossible to shoot down while he farms you into oblivion (Talking from experience with over 6000 kills on this thing)The same goes for specialists. Some are clearly better than others at a specific task. But by playing around you can find what's best for you. There are viable options in each class.If you can get the game for 20ish euros, its a good deal.

@selmon89You can always try it first on EA play. I would say it is in a good place right now but try it first it's not every one's cup of tea.

You are 100% right, they each needed more development time.

@selmon89 If you have Gamepass you get the game in the deal, give it a try there and if you don't like it cancel the subscrition or enjoy the plethora of other games on there. Should you enjoy the game you can still get in on sale if you want to own it till the end of days. Other then that i'd just watch a few streams and ask the streamers/their chat what they think of teh game. My opinion is anything more then 15-20€/$ is way too much so depending on the sale i'd wait....

You can find hackers and modders on every multiplayer game, this game is no expectation.

@selmon89 Have played BF since the launch of B4. Today I requested a refund for my BF2042 Ultimate Edition bc a “DirectX” issue that is still ongoing with a lot of people. A lot of these people have way better set ups than I do so I see no hope. Dice doesn’t address my issue at all 2with other customers so I’m looking forward to my Steam refund. I would suggest looking into the DirectX issue others are having and seeing if your set up is similar to theirs in hopes of preventing the issue before you hand over your money. Hope this helps your decision.

I say that if it's no more then a 5r, then do it.
This game still need some much needed fixes and features (which they ignore). But in the end, it's your call.
