Is there a particular reason why the RU KA-520 SUPER HOKUM gets a 30mm Cannon?

If you've used air vehicles, you will have noticed that the Super Hokum gets to equip a 30mm Cannon whilst the Apache Warchief, it's US counterpart, can not equip a 30mm Cannon. I'm just curious why...

I'm with you on this the Apache needs a forward firing cannon for the driver all the other helo's have one or the option.  Air Superiority real shows it at least for me.

    I dont fly so i really dont have a dog in the fight but in a real apache the back seater doesnt tupically control the cannon (they can as a backup but the pilot typically just flies
