is there actually a way to use a config like back in the days?
A "User.cfg" in the installation directory with all the commands you want to be executed?
I can't get it to work, can anyone let me know if it is even possible?

I personally didn't try it though.
Oh, looks like DEVS did something, now User.cfg is not used anymore. My CPU is getting locked to 100% while nothing is happening, even in main menu. (Which was not the case before season 3)
Don't devs have any heart? How can they be mean... It was a workaround that was working, it was not damaging them in any way.

I just tried it out.
For me it works.
I made a user.cfg
with
PerfOverlay.DrawFPS 1
PerfOverlay.FpsDisplayScale 2
and this is what I get:
