Is this even fair? My coins were completely wasted...

I pre-ordered the game as a Standard Edition. And then I cancelled it and ordered Gold Edition instead via Steam.

When the first Season came out, I saw that I was able to get only the free items from the Battle Pass, so I thought that these free items are the ones that come with Year 1 Pass which I already have with my Gold Edition, so I recharged 2400 BTC and purchased the Season 1 Premium Pass.

Then just a day ago I've also recharged another 1000 BTC and purchased Season 2 Premium Pass. But when I was chatting with my friends, they informed me that Gold Edition should already include these Premium passes, so I contacted EA support straight away.

After they checked, they found that Year 1 Pass was not actiually activated due to a technical issue, so they have fixed it for me, but when I asked about the coins that I totally wasted for something I already paid for, they said that they can't help me with that.

Do you guys think this is even fair? It was not my mistake that Year 1 Pass was not activated due to a technical issue, which did lead me to purchased things that I should have got for free.

To be honest, this was a big let down for me because I've expected that the issue would be handled differently.

Nah, totally not fair.
Contact them again. And again. And again. And again.
You paid for something you already had because they F'd up (again) so keep at it. Never give up.

They should fix it yeah, maybe give you back the BCoins because it is a fault in their system that you purchased a single-purchase item twice.
Honestly, they should be able to easily spot this error in their sales-system...

@Daeyon-be I mean yeah... I wish if at least they give back the tokens I used to purchase Season 1 & 2 Premium Pass, because I should have it already.

@Belboll I'd have another chat with them. I think that virtual currency is usually non-refundable, but it couldn't hurt to ask again in case they can make an exception. It might come to nothing but EA Help would be the people to talk to.

@Belboll If it makes you feel any better, I paid $130 CDN for an incomplete game that’s taken 9 months and is still not a great game. Sorry to hear you get boned by Dice. They could at least credit you some premium skins even if they can’t provide a refund.
