@ElliotLH I really think so. If you can no longer defeat them with a single blow, you are all the more vulnerable. The compromise was less accuracy. Generally, I think the accuracy should be about the same as when firing a handgun in rapid succession. Since this weapon is basically used at close range, that level of accuracy would not change its usability much from what it is now. Alternatively, it might be better to make the weapon unrecoverable instead of being powerful, but this is a difficult question since being able to recover is a unique advantage of this weapon. Other options would be to reduce the number, or make it a replacement for fighting weapons.
It’s true Throwing Knives can be effective but man it’s easy to miss your target (at least on console)
And you give up the possibility of carrying a grenade which I think most people consider a more reliable gadget to use.
