It's time to show the top priority mode of 2042, portal mode

Our marketing team has shown all that should be shown. What is more important than the portal model? I'm sure 70% of players want to play it. Hey Dice, what are you waiting for? Players can't wait to...

@zxcwudi666 May be more important to you, but not their bottom line. Majority of players are going to be playing regular CQ, especially if they tier the content for portal to diffrent seasons.

@GLOCK_IN_DA_SOCK I would bet a steak dinner you will be wrong on the conquest part. All i see is people saying portal. That means what they have played and seen from EA is not appealing.

    @ghinavirus All I'm seeing on the forums is portal, true. But the guys I play bf4 with regularly (there's about 50 of them) all have said they will likley play regular CQ as they always do. (The majority of them want a change of scenery after playing bf4 for 6k+ hours.) I don't take the general feelings of these forums as the feelings of the community as a whole anymore. After the bfv debacle it's obvious that this is a very small sample size.

      @GLOCK_IN_DA_SOCK I tell you what. Necro this thread In December. Let me know where everyone is playing. After what you told me, I would still bet a steak dinner they will be in portal. Those gadgets will get very old very fast for the diehards like your group.

      Most of the private group i speak too are counting on portal, as the other modes or either yuck to them or meh.But hey, maybe it will be fun. I hope it is as I want to play just one shooter and have a blast with all of you.

        @ghinavirus I think some folks are going to be disappointed at the content of portal when the game launches. It just smells and looks like EA, to tier the content to diffrent "seasons". If that happens and say all you have avalaible for season 1 is bc2 tools or bfv tools ect, it'll put a damper on it a bit. Id also say hazard zone is going to be popular, but with new players coming from games like tarkov instead of the classic bf player.

      Sorry but I have to say that everyone who has 6K+ hours in a game is part of a very small group of players and represents a very small minority..

      Of course there will be a lot of players who play regular CQ, like those who are new to the series or those who.. well.. have 6K hours in BF4. A big group of players (not saying the majority) stopped playing Battlefield after BF4 and now are getting back into it, yet do not want to play a Rainbow Six Arena 64v64.

        @IAF_Nobanaa Diffrence is with those guys, they are not going to come on the forum and suggest changes, then when they get them, abandon the game...that's what happens on these forums. Guys come in and say stuff like "the game is like R6" then when the devs listen(they use to) and change the core of the game (see bfv) they abandon the title and pan the devs on the way out. I said what I said about these forums, because history has shown us its true.
