@Metal_Daryl97The dusting on helicopters is in general very strong. I've had cases where I land ~7-8 50mm shots on a nearish helicopter and only 4 register (I killed it, of course).
Explosions, blood mist, particles on bullet/projectile impact are all clientside, if your client thinks you hit something it will have those, but the server decides damage. Their lack is also clientside, if you fire a tank cannon immediately after reloading, you will not see the shell and explosion, but you will deal damage. Now, for spread that's fine, if the client and server had the same spread it would be much easier to make hacks that remove spread, so it's common that the client and server will disagree on hits when your spread is high. However, I know the 50mm has no spread, I dunno about rocket pods but conceptually it would be bad if they did have spread.
Hi all. With the latest update I noticed one remarkable thing. The visibility of the effect of an airborne hit has increased, but no hits are registered. Previously, when an attack helicopter collided with a Night Bird, 127 mm hits were rare but were accurately recorded with a visual effect. After the update, I noticed that visual hits became more frequent, but registration out of 3 was only one.
Also, this PIP marker only works properly if you aim it at the ground. As soon as you raise the sight into the air when shooting at aircraft, it is simply useless. In short, they made some kind of unfinished aiming interface in a hurry.
