It's more than silly that if a jet is at 100 health and the enemy aircraft is at 1 health and I clip them that we both die. Impact damage between aircraft should be and I believe is dictated by force so two jets at max speed hitting head on result in max damage while a slow moving jet against and even slower heli should have reduced damage which should favor whoever has the higher HP.
Given the Nightbird's maneuverability people should have little trouble evading them.
