Joystick support! It was finally added!
The release notes failed to mention it, but I now am using my Logitech Extreme 3D pro again with my PC.

The game does not recognize my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It is recognized fine by the Logitech Profiler app outside the game and buttons register. Within the game, when I try to map the controls in the mapping screen nothing happens. There is no response at all ☹️
I use the same joystick and I got it to map just fine, weird.
Hard to say what the issue could be.

Oh I've tried nine ways to Sunday and every config in the book. Logitech Extreme Pro. Steam launched game. Steam sees the stick, the PC sees the stick, game, big fat nothing....
I'm out of town right now I'll look and see when I get home to see what I did.
- @Echo6Echo I have to ask just in case, did you go into the Options and set it up? I haven’t found it to be plug and play, so if not the JS has nothing mapped. You probably did, I don’t know you eh? The mapping controls are not intuitive at all.

(I've done this with an X Box controller too) So Steam recognizes it and I've set the preferences in the Steam portal on 2042 to every option there is. When I launch the game, its shows that it's using the Steam config. In game, nothing. No input...going into controls for controller, joystick etc. and trying to setup the stick, nothing. I can't remap, etc. It's like the stick is not connected.
My keyboards and mice work just fine...
Just went into Options, found joystick setup for the heli and tried setting it up. All the right controls were there (roll., ptich, yaw, etc.), but none of the buttons from the joystick were registering while I'm in the mapping screen so no way to map anything. They register just fine outside the game using the Logitech app. In my case, I'm not using Steam for BF2042, just standard EA only install.

- @Ironhead841 Just wondering If the Communtity Members who have their Logitech 3D Pro working used the Logitech software or another? this information would Help many I am sure(myself included), I am very glad joystick support has been introduced in BF2042.....been an advocate since pre Alpha.
