@Echo6EchoI have to ask just in case, did you go into the Options and set it up? I haven’t found it to be plug and play, so if not the JS has nothing mapped. You probably did, I don’t know you eh? The mapping controls are not intuitive at all.
So I use Steam for the game. Steam sees the stick and I can use the stick to navigate Steam. (I've done this with an X Box controller too) So Steam recognizes it and I've set the preferences in the Steam portal on 2042 to every option there is. When I launch the game, its shows that it's using the Steam config. In game, nothing. No input...going into controls for controller, joystick etc. and trying to setup the stick, nothing. I can't remap, etc. It's like the stick is not connected.
My keyboards and mice work just fine...
I cant fly in BF games with mnk to save me life, and flying with controller seems much slower (maybe its just me?). I am getting 2 Gladiator NXT EVO flight sticks (seriously cant wait) after xmas mainly for Star Citizen, has anyone the same sticks and do they work in 2042?
- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@Spinner1981 I’ve been unable to get my X52 pro. The only JS that seems to work are simple ones like the Logitech 3D Pro. I have an old Wingman in the garage I may try, I can do ok with MnK in choppers but tend to auger straight in with jets!
- 3 years ago@ATFGunr yeah will just have to try it when I get them. If not will just have to stick with using controller for flying
