Just 1 map for season 2? That's it?

don't think dice understands this but this isn't enough. Even if you made the best map in world, the game won't survive. We needed 4 maps not 1 per season. No way dice is working on full capacity with content so little, it took them 1 year for 2 maps and bare minimum fixes. The game had half the features from previous titles and again rework are not new maps, it was a bad product that dice tried to fix. Half of players and yts will leave after mw2. The game won't survive. People thought bf v live service was bad.

    @keptuwaitinghuh1 The game's been out 9 months, not a year. And it's had a lot of fixes, not bare minimum.

    But it's sad to say, in terms of quantity of content, we're gonna be drip-fed the minimum they can legally get away with. Which sadly means 1-2 maps max per season - at this point I just hope we end up with a dozen 2042-era maps at the end of the service.

    I'm fine with 1 Specialist per season, as it already feels like there's enough Specialsist. A trickle of ground vehicle additions is fine, don't really care about them as there's already enough to choose from. Absolutely don't need any more air vehicles, especially something as useless as more jets lol.

    The game absolutely needs a lot more weapons, as well as gadgets. This needs to be prioritised. And more maps clearly, which is where Portal map remasters from all eras come in. They're really gonna have to pump a bunch of them out for Portal and bring them into AOW.

    Unfortunately for you a new stealth bomber might be coming next seasons, found by temporayal on tw.

    BF2042 definitely needs more new maps.

    Players are crying out for some fresh content, look how popular the new Exposure map has been.

    so it seems only 1 new map coming in season 2? really??? sorry but reworking a terrible map doesnt count. it really does seem we are getting the absolute bar minimum eh?

    Well...yeah. This game is a flop so they are going to do the bare minimum to meet whatever they need to meet.

    as we knew they would. but they deserve all the crap they get now. they claim a full studio working on this? if so thats even more worrying.

    To answer OP, yes one map. Yes, that's it.


    The content for this title is already done. They can't just create a new map from scratch now. If it is not already built, there is no chance it makes it into the game. At most we can hope for some additional classic maps to make it into the middle of Season 2 (October). 

    If there is any chance of a bigger content drop, it would be Season 3, which starts right before the holiday season. I was hoping they would add a Server Browser, Squad Management functionality and finally crack open server rentals then.
