Sorry for trying to look at the bigger picture of the problem we have with cheaters.
And for speaking up despite being in the nest of m&k bees...
Try and look at the many threads we have had in recent months on why a very substantial part of console players are absolutely against cross play with PCs. It is not because we do not like to play with our friends on PCs...
As I already posted above, if you wanting to use m&k on consoles could be forced to be in same lobby as the other m&k players on PC, then please go ahead!
Being in the same lobby as controller users on consoles without having the ability to filter you away. Absolute not.
And for those that are willing/eager to play all together no matter, then they can still do so.
Hope you agree to those principles.
@CyberDyme That's what we've been saying since the beginning. The original post says that too. Console M&K users forced into crossplay lobbies and controller users are given a choice between crossplay lobbies to play with their friends (or if they are a masochist) or a controller only lobby. The framework is already there. All that's needed is a filter. So yeah, I agree to those principles.
I just want to make it clear to the devs who read this that there is no objection from anyone regarding adding M&K support on consoles as long as it is done right and doesn't muddy controller only lobbies (crossplay=off lobbies for xbox and ps).
