I'm literally moving around the map and letting aim assist get me the kills and it doesn't feel engaging to me. Turning off aim assist would make me look stupid in a lobby where it's in abundance. And I'm not here to blame aim assist.. controllers need it. But it just isn't very engaging or rewarding to get kills personally.
Why not just allow it temporarily and then see the results? Disable it while you study the results. What better investigation is possible than to allow players to get hands on with it and get live data? Keyboard already works so it's just the mouse. If it breaks the game then fine, turn it off. But take the chance please. @EA_Atic @EA_Darko
Hello, i played the 10 hours trial for Battlefield 2042 on PS5 this weekend and this is my honest opinion. I really liked the game, and the war concept. But the thing is i dont want to play with cross play, since it’s not fair playing with players that have mouse and keyboard, since you cannot use them on consoles. But I didn’t even got to play one game, cause I couldn’t find enough players for the game to start, even on smaller format, the 64 one. I tried like 6 times, and i even waited 30 mins and still nothing. So i had to play with cross play, and i just don’t have the same reactions with a joystick. And I didn’t find it fair. Which made me not buy the game, even though I enjoyed it at times.
Is there any chance that we’ll be able to use mouse and keyboard on consoles in the near future? If yes, i would gladly buy the game then.

It's been almost 5 months since DICE announced they were thinking about adding mouse support for consoles. They haven't said a word about it since their initial announcement on September 30, 2021.
I would say the odds of mouse support coming in the near future are slim.

It's already a slog playing against PCers, I'd rather not give M&K to other console users too

Official Mouse and Keyboard Support: The PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5) both offer official support for using a mouse and keyboard for certain games. However, this support can vary from game to game.
USB Connection: Connect your mouse and keyboard to the console's USB ports. Most wired USB mice and keyboards should work without any additional setup.
Game Compatibility: Not all games support mouse and keyboard controls. Check the game's official information or consult the PlayStation Store to see if a game of splatrball gun supports these input methods.
Settings Configuration: Some games that support mouse and keyboard may require you to adjust settings within the game to enable these controls.

I don’t know about m&k. I bought a console to het away from that stuff and play on the couch on a big tv. It would further complicate things no?
M&K players on console then would have to be put against PC players..
People are lobbying for no cross play (Myself included) …m&k players say aim assist is cheating…controller players say PC has advantage over controllers…
I would just have it like this:
If you want m&k go PC
If you want controller go console
Delete crossplay, PC vs PC only, console vs console. Done.
Otherwise…lots of trouble. No?

i have problems when facing 1v1 PC Player who is playing on M&K... aim assist should be better for controllers or add M&K to consoles...
