Please allow us to play battlefield 2042 with M&K on PS5

XIM works with Sony's remote play app on ps5.
- @xXxTHE_JOKERxXx They have said they will be investigating it and its effects on crossplay so I really hope they keep us in the loop all along while doing that. A lot of my friends decided to buy vanguard instead for this Christmas so that's probably where I'll be spending my time. Will consider buying the game when they add in M&K support.
Another topic merge for you...
- @ElliotLH Seeing as they can adjust the fire rate of weapons and eliminate recoil I highly consider them to be cheating, but apparently they can't be used with PS5 games so that's a huge plus.
- @emerson1975 That's amazing to see honestly, and I just have to say way to go to Sony/PlayStation they know what they're doing.
EA mentioned battlefield 2042 was unfair to support keyboard and mouse on console. What the meaning unfair. They dont cross play with pc player. Pc player also using keyboard and mouse.
Pls allows console player to use keyboard and mouse. Just not allowed the aim assist for the player switch controller to keyboard and mouse.

- ElliotLH4 years agoHero+@TankerFlanker I agree that the Cronus shouldn't be allowed due to the macros, but don't have a massive problem with the Xim Apex or M&K use as a whole myself in all honesty.
This was pretty much my initial point, that in most cases it comes down to what we as individuals see as acceptable. There are most likely even people out there who would consider Elite/Scuf controllers as giving an unfair advantage. >> It won't be supported at launch, but they still investigating the options they have to make it available.
See official statement below regarding this topic:
"We’ve heard your questions about mouse and keyboard support for consoles. We can confirm that we won’t be supporting this on consoles at the launch of Battlefield 2042, but we are still investigating the various options about making that available, and how it may impact cross-play. If that ever changes, you’ll hear it from us first."

Hi @Gendash28 EA haven't outright said they think supporting native mouse and keyboard is unfair, in fact they've said they'll be investigating "the various options about making that available, and how it may impact cross-play" (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-Announcements/Battlefield-s-Commitment-to-Positive-Play/td-p/10690725).
While there's no guarantee that it'll be added down the line it could well be at some point in the future.Edit: Travis is a faster typer than I am 😆
