Need a kick button in squads. enough of the catering to the woke.

There are several functions to enable/encourage proper team play and squad play that is terrible missing in the BF2042 game.And YES, of course you should be able to kick somebody off the squad if you have the squad leader position!Examples mentioned above are great and of course also relevant. If somebody casually have been assigned to your squad but do not care to work together in and with the squad, the squad lead should of course be able to kick such soldier out from the squad. Especially for players that likes to push hard through enemy lines etc, as there it is super vital that all squad members contribute 100% for the group to stay alive behind the enemy lines.Kick is also of course relevant for friends to get together and play together for the fun of it being all in a squad together. So if some unknown casual is in the squad at game round start, then of course the squad lead should be able to kick such member off to make a free soldier slot for the group of friends to get together.That said, it should then of course also work for players themselves to be able to browse through all the existing squads and select to join one of them if any open slots are available in them.Also the function to create a new squad is required, to ensure all have the ability to get organized in the way they prefer to play the game.If a squad lead is not directing the troop with squad orders, we need of course a mechanism to ask for orders and the squad lead position will be transferred to asking squad member on the list if no meaningful order has been given within a reason timeframe.Again, call me an old fashioned legacy BF player, but we had this working fine in previous BF games and we need absolute such base functionality back as default in a BF game!

This game needs proper squad management (join, leave, create, lock), if these actions were there, there would be no need to kick anyone. Whatever we have now is no where near adequate for a 128-player squad-based FPS game.

No, if three of us are on discord and one random joins and does nothing we should be able to kick him.Ridiculous that you can't.EDIT: how can you POSSIBLY abuse kick lol

You can leave squad, yes. But what if you are playing with a couple of friends and you just want to kick the useless camper who stays sniping or hiding in tank or want to get rid of the fatheaded who reveals the beacon position when he starts shooting right after deploying from it . I will love to have the chance to kick the ones who places their beacon just right next to mine.Even if you leave squad maybe you will find another " want-to-kick-this-useless-hindrance ".In deed squad leadership is a joke and squad management is MUST needed and maybe it will make more bearable this horible version of BF.

You should be able to kick useless players who doesn't want to play as a squad.
It isn't a difficult concept.
This should have been day one and it is very telling of those involved why it still hasn't been implemented.

Not having the ability to "kick" or lock squads leaves me asking how exactly this is supposed to be "squad management" as all the tools to "manage" your squad are being excluded?

@Padding_Ur_Stats 3 players leaving the squad is just the same as 1 person getting kicked. The only difference is a situation of the majority catering to the minority or vice versa.
In that sense kick is better.

Why is this even a discussion? They did not say: "there will be no way to kick players" and even you yourself posted this mock up of the UI that has both kick and ban (not sure what ban is supposed to do though):
