The sheer lack of maps is embarrassing, what have we got, like 14 maps? From a New game, and now over two years since launch?
We should have something like 30 maps by now, what the hell is going on with both DICE and EA?
We need Map Pack drops to keep this rubbish going.

Well technically we are getting two maps in march for season 7, season 8 we dont know.
I agree the lack of maps is some what disappointing but i think at this point we just have to ride season 7 and 8 out and see what happens.
There are 13 maps. Season 7 will bring it to 15. Honestly their 2 years too late to bring more maps. We should definitely be up to 30 by now. I'm just so use to playing thr same old boring maps.
I played manifest 10 times in a row yesterday. Little to no effort went into the current maps. Hence, the reason the reworks.

Yep, it's absolutely brutal [expectations].
Should have double the amount of maps at this point, sure they won't all be winners (never have been in previous games) but the hope was that with all of the cosmetics/battlepass money that it would more than cover the costs/revenue that was achieved with the previous Premium model, with the benefit of not cutting out groups of people from servers/maps. But who knows at this point, I don't have any desire to pay money for skins in a game, personally.
I hope EA/Dice realized by now that more maps are king. People don't spend money on skins because they don't play the game. Why don't they play the game? It's the lack of maps and map rotation. To be fair: some of the big maps play like more maps. For example: RENEWAL. You can spend a whole round on the desert side, or the next round only in the building with 2 flags on the other side of the wall. That building alone is like a close quarters map in BF3. Still: need more maps and more frequently in the next BF.
There are maps and there are 'maps'.
Small maps with minimal space to move in for vehicles is what I dont call a Battlefield map. Most of the maps are these small maps. It always ends up in boring stalemate gameplay, like Breakthrough and Flashpoint. DICE should be ashamed, it's not Battlefield imo.
They should just release the new maps now. Everyone can play test them! We are already use to unfinished content.
I heard thr second map is called parking lot.
Players will have the opportunity to fight in a wide open parking lot.

We are so lacking on new material it's a sin. 4 maps a season was just the right amount of material. I am so bored now I only play briefly.
