@RNM4010028 Jets have been part of Battlefield since the games inception, and it would not be battlefield without them. We already have plenty of shooters that don't have air/ground/water vehicles.
That being said I think there are specific things that Dice can do to improve balance. I would like to see jet weapons cause more damage, but that they would be more susceptible to ground AA.
Furthermore, jets should be required to go back to the base/carrier after expending weapons in order to reload.

i think a problem with flying is that one skilled pilot can sometimes dominate the fight in the air. If you are learning the ropes and you join a server where you are flying against a pro who has everything unlocked you don't last for long. If you then have to wait for a plane to respawn, its of-putting. Getting spawn-* on the carrier on Iwo Jima is particularly annoying - you sometimes just need to forget about flying or join another server if you want to carry on.
Having said that, well matched dog-fight is probably the most exhilarating experience in BF.
