5 player squads or at least some other way to play together with more than 3 friends.

I commend the person or people who promoted the concept of Portal to the bean counters and won. I would have loved to hear the pitch. Moreover, whoever was involved from concept to coding, thank you! I sincerely hope what you've birthed takes on a life of it's own.
- 4 years ago1. Add an actual scoreboard with everyone in the server, ping, Kills & deaths, rank & score
2. Add more guns, vehicles and attachments, just too much to list here but this game is lacking severely in these aspects particularly in the base game mode
3. add a way to check your own stats such as lifetime kd, spm, etc.
4. add a server browser
5. add a way to switch squads or teams, also add a way to KICK people from your squad when you are squad leader
6. AOW lobby just ends and you need to go through the quick join process again, this should not be a thing and never should've been.
7. fix vehicle controls on console
8. side to side strafing movement should be faster, it feels sluggish as compared to previous games
9. Add VOIP! this is VERY IMPORTANT
10. show how much damage you deal to vehicles
11. XP needs to be modified, I can't see why they wouldn't set kills to 100xp and revives to 100xp like in previous games, healing and proving ammo should also get a buff with xp, might make people actually want to heal people and give people ammo
12. add a way to grab ammo/health off of medic/support players like in previous games
13. not a fan of the specialist system, this should be relegated to hazardzone/battle royal game modes, it really does not belong in core battlefield.
14. add customization to UI particularly to make objectives transparent when aiming down sights
thats not even to mention all the bugs I've come across that I'd like them to fix. If I've taken time out of my day to edit and upload videos and fill out their form they should take the time to try to fix it.- frekwalda14 years agoSeasoned Ace@foff667 yep need voice chat. Server browser needed so you can pick your region and ping (have not played yet in my region). Map rotation so i am not playing on the same map over and over.

I'm sure I will think of more over time but these are things that bother me off the top of my head.
UI
- Add scoreboard and display everyone's ping
- Add compass for vehicle drivers
- Add proper HUD indicator for firing mode
- Add more HUD options, HUD and Icon opacity in particular
- Add options button on main menu
- When choosing All-out-warfare, have conquest, breakthrough and any future game modes use their own buttons instead of having to select "change gamemode" first
Weapons
- Remove Bloom/Per shot random deviation. If the player can control the recoil, they should be rewarded for it, not penalised.
- Remove first shot recoil multiplier. Recoil should be uniform for every shot.
- Increase shotgun effective range
- Remove the bullet check animation when spawning
- NTW-50 OHK range should be reduce to 10m. 20m max OR players should spawn with full armour.
- AP ammo should do more damage to light vehicles and aircraft. 1-2 damage per shot
Specialists
- Boris' sentry gun should disappear on death, not when downed
- Remove Angel's ability to team kill friendlies with loadout crate.
Vehicles
- Hovercraft health needs dramatic reduction. Should be 2 rockets max to kill
- Tanks need better gun elevation
- Tanks need faster turret turn
- Tanks should OHK any aircraft with their main gun.
- AA vehicle should be it's own vehicle type instead of taking up heavy armour slot.
Maps
- Move Breakthrough attacker spawns closer to the objectives. Too much running over empty spaces to get to the action.
- Add more light transports spawning at flags with instant respawn timer given the long travel time between flags and the number of players there are
- Option to turn off intro video/animation to maps. It was a neat novelty the first time. Now it's just annoying and I'd rather spend that time setting up my loadout.
- Orbital Breakthrough B2 either needs to be moved to the ground or increase the capture radius and height (above and below the roof) to allow for aircraft capture and capture from inside the building

This is so frustrating esp when spawning near enemies. You're gonna die fast.

The *only* solution I want is Dice must enable mouse input on console. Just like COD you plug a mouse into the console the matchmaking only places you in crossplay servers, you cant play in console-only servers.
Don't tell me that another solution is to turn off crossplay. Dice sold a game with a promise that crossplay is a feature and console mouse input is enabled. They lied. Therefore, there's no other solution. They must enable mouse input. I didn't buy the game that advertised a crossplay feature and mouse functionality only to disable crossplay because Dice doesn't want to keep their end of the bargain.

Dice we need a way to play with more than 3 friends. It’s killing our gaming time with friends and clan mates. Or if there is a way please explain how??? but looks like no way.

- Shorter maps (to much running not enough shooting)
- A lot more cover
- Tighten the spread of guns a little bit more
- Remove Bolte
- 64 player option
- Options to change squads
- Choose wether to play against Xbox v Ps5
- Sort out the plane mechanics they are awful and not fun

Get rid of sentry guns and robotic dogs. Goodness me make they game about skill again.

BATTLEFIELD in the first place, what made battlefield a BATTLEFIELD. First of all, I don`t see such game mechanics as features, rather view them as a core and functional part of the game.
- Oldschool Squad Management live in-game.
Except for creating a lobby before starting a game, there must be the option to make a Squad private, disband the Squad, rename the Squad up to 12 signs, invite other players to the Squad, assign/promote a Squad Leader, remove the players from the Squad by the Squad Leader, all actions live in-game. Battlefield 2 (2005).
- VoIP system.
In the Hazard Zone VoIP is a must. Plus anyone should be able to mute other squad members or mute himself permanently if wishes to stay out of the conversation. Also, icons might be assigned to certain actions indicating the status. Battlefield 2 (2005).
- Customizable HUD and Minimap.
Players do need some control over minimap customization and elements of the HUD in the same manner as in previous Battlefields. BF4 is the best example. Now it`s not even possible to zoom in/out or to resize the minimap by pressing "N" as it used to be. Change the transparency, style, size, remove, move some elements to certain corners of the screen, etc. Sometimes I`m really lost mainly due to limited minimap. Battlefield 4 (2013).
- Server Browser and management with dedicated servers.
Enough said. At least on the same complexity level as in BF4. Community servers running 24/7 with map and game mode(s) info, slot size, ping, tick rate, tickets, whitelist, weapon, and gadget control. Everything in order to keep the game alive and players interested. Keeping the communities alive. The current lobby solution might be solely a domain in BR and HZ. BF has been all about the servers supported by the communities. No communities = no Battlefield. Platoon organization. Battlefield 3 (2011)
- Game modes in core 2042.
Rush, TDM, SQTDM, Domination. Possibly Chainlink and CTF in rotation! I`m not missing Obliteration or 5vs5 mode. Close Quarters expansion DLC in BF3 is simply amazing. Battlefield 4 (2013)
- Hardcore Mode,
I believe some players would like to play more challenging game modes with higher damage and with limited HUD info.
- Oldschool Scoring System.
I`m just wrapping my head around why there is no information about the damage done to a given vehicle in case of a critical hit.
There is no almost no bonus when it comes to capturing flags as a squad. How do you wish to encourage teamplay dear EA? Battlefield 4 (2013)
- Page for statistics.
This is really not my cup of tea by not having a page with overall players' statistics or stats after a finished round. Or at least we shall have access to our stats and friends as well.

Successfully defend 10 objectives in Breakthrough with all members of your squad.
Successfully defend 10 objectives in Conquest with all members of your squad.
Successfully attack and hold 10 objectives in Breakthrough with all members of your squad.
Successfully attack and hold 10 objectives in conquest with all members of your squad.
Win 10 Breakthrough matches as defenders.
Win 5 Breakthrough matches as attackers.
These are a few team focused suggestions for Battle Pass rewards because I have grown tired of the individual player weapon challenges that we keep seeing every season.
