Lets play a game [UPDATE: Video posted]

Rules are simple - I show you a BF2042 screenshot and 4 possibilities. You tell me which one is most plausible and I post a full video in 24h

1 - I kill Sundance

2 - I kill Blasco

3 - I get double kill

4 - I get hitmaker but no kill.

UPDATE: So none of you were right. I actually killed Blasco in that clip and then Sundance killed me. All I wanted to showcase here is how slow 2042's engine reacts to fast movement and aiming fliks. In frame-by-frame you can see that my aim wasn't anywhere near Blasco when gun fired, let alone when ammo count decreased by 1 like 10 frames later. But of well. Should I do it again? :D

    @UP_LordPlumberThat is some next level netcode failure. Client and server are complete desync'd for that entire exchange. What is your latency?

    Hmm, since we are running lower tickrate than than for example cs2 or OW. Its small delay you had. Its same when i fly my bird very close to something and i touch but server fixed that i did not. Second shot was obvious miss tho but collision model was probably delayed same as goes for tgm. You shoot tgm, goes trought helo, i see tgm missing me, hits me. Double tickrate, everything would be slightly more precise and thats probably the reason EA is not doing it.

    @MADMAC50K no, nb has longer ttk than infy 1v1 like situation he had, same rules and limits touches us too. Not my prob when you run in open like headless chicken.
