@Stew360 Completely disagree. Server browser would allow you to join the experience that you want and that alone would drive additional player engagement. I personally hate playing a bad map 3 times in a row now that the server scrambles after each round. I'll err on the side of giving players choice - if you want to be at the mercy of the quick match Gods so be it, but the rest of us want to be able to find and play our favorite map.

BIggest reason 2042 is failing, is lack of continual "team-mates", if your not with old friends or on a discord, your not really finding new friends in Battlefield.

Server Browser/Consistant Servers would be the only option IMO

Theres also a problem now of being trapped going back into the same game over and over if you want to leave that game you are stuck connecting back to it unless you pick a different mode.

    Aside what has been said previously about the advantages to get a server browser, it would solve an issue ( in my case).
    I play from Mexico and the closest servers are in the US, but my family/friends are in Europe and the connection between Mexico and Europe is quite bad. This means that the best option for me to play with them is to use NA servers (we all have a correct ping) , it works perfectly when we are 2 and I am the squad leader but sadly when we are more than 2 people in the squad, matchmaking is looking at the region where most of the members of the squad are (Europe in that case) and it sends us automatically on EU servers.
    Given that I have 175ms ping on Eu servers, I just can't play when more than 2 friends are playing BF2042.

@Flavin913 Reading the latest news the sever browser will be revised in mid February and will continue to get redone.
As for continual teammates I read what I already suspected is they use team balancing and doubtful that will ever occur. VoIP is also being addressed and will come once it’s done. Just read the tweets to the right.

  @k1u73 I hope so but I think they are just going to try to add filters to match making and improve the match making system. I'd prefer a server browser for AoW but if they can improve match making to the point that I don't get random long wait times that would be a big plus.
  Also quite pleased with the changes to portal xp; I'm hoping it results in some of the portal servers being repopulated.
  They talked about a lot of the issues I have with the game (not including gameplay stuff), so this has been good news.
  Lets hope they add an option to turn off end of round voices / animations, team switching and server browser.
