I was playing BF5 yesterday, no problems at all. Played 2042 today and the game crashed, kicking out all players, half way through a round.
They already have working, stable, BF games, so why did they feel the need to make changes to server rotation and matchmaking leaving it in such a mess and making it currently impossible to get more than 4 friends in a game.
If money was at the forefront of 2042, it has spectacularly backfired. EA would be insane to introduce microtransactions to this game. The last thing they will want to do is anger their community even more.
They need to be giving away cosmetics to keep players logging on.

@ABC-Warrior-real then there's the whole "why bother with microtransactions if the player pool is so small" (but yea it'd * people off, myself included)
