Don't put the scoreboard on? A scoreboard is a basic feature of many fps games and was entirely optional to view in previous games.
Viewing the scoreboard in previous games was entirely optional and those that didn't care to look at it didn't have to
Scoreboards are very informative
Having a scoreboard has been in all the bf games. It provides information so you can see how well you are doing in comparison to your team and the opposition. It also tells you how well your team is doing compared to the opposition.
Additionally, it also tells you if there are any cheaters in the game.Having more info is better and when a new game is coming people expect that info to stay and not be completely cut out
That very very very useful information is being hidden from players for no reason in 2042
I like to to objectively see how well they are doing. That is an aspect of fun that the scoreboard provides. Do you know how satisfying it is to be at the top of the scoreboard getting very few kills but providing revives? Unparalleled.

Very very strongly disagree with that particular point. Don't remove the option for people who actually like to view stats/info globally in the game
And I think many agree with this sentiment just by viewing the massive thread titled 'Old Scoreboard' on these forums
90% of the community already plays only for the kills, ruining matches in every mode and the gaming experience of those who play for the goals. do you know what would happen if they put the scoreboard ???? The hell with meaningless matches, the double of campers everywhere and no one would play for the goals! The only thing the player of today looks is the k/d nothing else and this is a superfluous information in bf.
They have an anticheat system this should be enough in a fps.
If you want to stay at the top play a game like cod. There you just have to kill the players.
- @Okiinbustine It is true. This game has enough COD DNA in it as it is. I don't know if a scoreboard will make it worse, but other things need to happen to improve teamwork:
- more flag locations on the maps. The 128 player maps should be ADDING flags to the 64 versions, not just moving them. It's absurd that there are maybe 5 areas of interest for 128 players
- Vehicles back on the map. Transports are at a premium given they are lumped in with Nightbird. No one spawns on LATVs really
- Platoon/squad system
- in game mics
Literally this game has nothing that has ever encouraged teamwork in Battlefield or any other large scale game like MAG or Planetside.I agree with you. I can also add the fact that 90% of the console community is just trash and poor idiot kids from cod that during Hazard Zone they camp the entire match in the corner of the map just for some kills... in Hazard Zone!!!! and you talk about you want scoreboard??? Or they start running through the map pushing solo against everyone without playing for the goal and without helping the team... EA should ban them for being trash and for trying to ruin the experience to others but EA doesnt do anything. and this * community keep growing up more and more. It happens every 6/10 matches.
- @Okiinbustine would love to see revives, ammo supply and capture points get people to top of leadsrboard, and I think that happened in past games but you still need some kills.
Anyways your never gonna find a arcadish FPS game where people don't care about their K/D ratio.
Judging by your post you need to find a discord group that has your goals in mind and you'll have way more fun.So, do you like when you play a match of any mode and while you play the others camp on the map for the whole game? I think not.
The scoreboard already in the game is enough, and give you the exact info you need during the match. Stop talking about this scoreboard and lets begin to do something to those who do NOT know how to play properly or play only for themselves. I know I'm talking to the wall, as we say in my country, but I always hope someone reads.- @Okiinbustine Pushing capture points and being aggressive is something that you've either got or don't IMO. Very hard to turn bad players into good players.
And the scoreboard will help, so I can see who else is capturing and pushing and usually that means high kills (atleast for me it does cause that's where I get my kills). And the scoreboard can let me know who I should be origin friends with and who i should squad up with.
So yeah the scoreboard is needed for team play.
